From Brett with love creates and funds projects that connect people, empower individuals, and inspire achievement. Founded in honor of Brett Austin Liddle, we turn ideas into action—creating opportunities for growth, collaboration, and impact. Our work is driven by the belief that empowered people change the world.
Brett was 21 when he passed away from a very rare form of meningitis on August 29, 2024. Since Brett gained his angel wings, life has become quieter.
Everything about Brett was big. He was passionate, loud, reactive (in good ways), and unique. And, at the time of his passing, he was spreading his wings. He was living on his own for the first time, discovering the beauty of community as he built wonderful friendships with his cousins and friends in Buffalo, gaining confidence in himself, and exploring his own identity.
Brett’s family and friends love him deeply, and that love continues even as he has moved on. The love that belongs to him needs purpose – a place to go.
From Brett with love takes our love for Brett and channels it into action. We create opportunities that help people discover their strengths, build confidence, pursue their goals, and spread their own wings. Every endeavor we undertake is rooted in the belief that empowered people can change their own lives, strengthen their communities, and ultimately change the world.
Founded in 2025, From Brett with love is a recognized tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and every contribution directly supports the projects and programs that further our mission.
