His name is Brett.
Brett is our son, and he always will be. He is also a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend who is deeply loved and dearly missed. Although he is no longer with us, his story continues to shape ours. Through From Brett with love, we invite you to know Brett, share in the love we have for him, and see the hope that inspired this foundation.
At the time of his passing, Brett was just beginning to spread his wings. Today, we honor Brett’s life by creating opportunities that connect people, help them discover their abilities, and inspire achievement. Through the projects, stories, and community we are building together, we hope to encourage others to discover what they’re capable of, spread their wings, and inspire those around them.

One of Brett’s favorite places to explore, the Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful 305-acre nature preserve where people of all ages can connect with wildlife and the outdoors.
NY Marine Rescue Center
Brett loved visiting the sea turtles at the New York Marine Rescue Center, where dedicated staff rescue, rehabilitate, and care for marine wildlife.
Wildlife Sustainability
Brett loved visiting the Long Island Game Farm. Through Wildlife Sustainability, the Game Farm continues to inspire future generations to appreciate and care for wildlife and the natural world.
